10. Lithuania

It might surprise you that tiny Lithuania always cracks the top 10 of countries with the most vacation days. Lithuanian workers are entitled to a whopping 28 days of paid vacation per year, and that doesn’t include their 14 paid public holidays.

Although they get lots of paid vacation time, Lithuanians earn every minute of it through their long hours and exceptional commitment to their jobs. It’s still quite a conservative country, and many working women are left to juggle both jobs and children on their own. Few men ever take parental leave, even if their job offers it.
