Countries with the Most Vacation Days

6. Austria
It really pays to stay employed long-term at the same company in Austria. Workers with over 25 years of service can take up to 30 paid days off per year, while the nationally mandated amount for workers with less experience is still a respectable 25 days. That doesn’t include the 13 holidays that workers are also paid to take off every year. Most of these holidays are religious, which reflects Austria’s largely Catholic population. Workers generally clock around 40 hours per week on the job.
