Elva Hill, Cumbria
Elva Hill, located in a northern part of England called Cumbria, is known locally as a site frequented by fairies. Although now it’s simply part of a local farmer’s field, the lore surrounding this site tells of fairies that made this hill their home, marking their territory with a circle of simple stones.
While not as elaborate as Stonehenge, it has been meaningful to the people of this area for centuries. To visit, make your way to Elva Farm, then take the walking path towards Higham Hill Road.
