The village of Pluckley, in Kent, has the dubious honor of being known as the most haunted village in the world. There are anywhere from 12 to 16 ghosts who regularly appear to people in the village, including the Watercress Woman, an elderly woman who burned to death, and a screaming man who fell to his death in the village brickworks.
If you want to visit, Pluckley is less than a two-hour drive from London.
