The World in Noodle Dishes

Pho

Just like pad thai and ramen, Vietnamese pho is one of the most famous noodle dishes to have come out of Asia. One of the big draws of pho is that as a basic dish, it is highly customizable, so you can tailor it to your exact tastes before digging in.

Pho is made from rice noodles which are cooked in a beef or chicken broth along with aromatics like ginger, coriander seeds, and star anise. When it comes to the toppings however, you can choose from a dazzling selection including fish sauce, Thai basil, cilantro, mint, scallions, chilies, and lime juice. The final crowning glory comes in the form of succulent meat, like slow braised beef, which makes this one of the most delicious noodle dishes in the world!
