Go for Gold: Abandoned Olympic Venues

Grenoble Ski Jump Tower – France
It appears as though the world has more aging ski jump towers than it needs. Case in point, the long-abandoned Ski Jump Tower in Grenoble, France.
Originally built as part of the 1968 Winter Olympic Games, the venue once boasted a capacity of nearly 50,000 spectators. The site has been overgrown, rusted, and abandoned for decades. And sadly, it doesn’t receive many visitors anymore, apart from the odd adventure-seeking tourist.
