Travel Destinations to Avoid in 2018

Zion National Park, Utah

This famous southwestern Utah national park is known for its signature sandstone cliffs and stunning mountain views that attract up to three million visitors a year. But sadly it, like many of our national parks, it’s become so overrun with tourists that many say its ruining the experience.

Long lines, large crowds, and a year-round busy season is making the park less enjoyable, stretching park ranger resources to their max, and worrying environmentalists who fear that too much foot traffic could harm the natural wonders of the park. Zion National Park is currently reviewing their tourism polices and could be implementing restrictions later in 2018.
