12. Cream Puffs
Since one of their most common exports is cheese, many people make fun of Wisconsin for being obsessed with cheese — their most popular varieties being Colby and Muenster. They also make plenty of cheese curds, the squeaky and delicious topping for poutine.
However, the State Fair of Wisconsin is best known not for their cheese, but instead for their amazingly delicious cream puffs. We’re used to seeing bite-sized cream puffs, but these monsters are the size of your whole hand, and piled almost half a foot high with indulgent whipped cream.
