9. Ice Cream Potato

Trust Idaho, the potato-growing capital of the United States, to make sure potatoes get into everything at their State Fair — even the dessert. One of their most famous State Fair treats is the Ice Cream Potato.

Funny enough, it doesn’t actually contain any potato. Instead, molded vanilla ice cream is rolled in cocoa powder until it looks exactly like a freshly baked potato. Then, it’s topped with a dollop of whipped cream and served on a bed of dirt-colored cookie crumbs.
