Café Touba, a Senegalese coffee, appears from the outside to look just like a regular cup of coffee. It’s not until you drink it that you can taste all of the unusual additions – ground cloves, Guinea pepper, and a unique mix of spices gives the coffee a real kick.

This coffee was first served in the holy city of Touba, which gives it its name. Although it was originally an integral part of ritual activity in Touba, the delicious coffee soon spread all over Senegal.
