This high-sugar soda is popular in the Bahamas, and is recognizable from the goofy, multi-colored face drawn on every can. Bahamas Goombay Punch is flavored with fruity flavors like pineapple and lemon and has 54 grams of sugar per can—a can of regular Coke only has 39 grams! Most people don’t get the citrus and fruit taste—the most popular way to describe it is that it tastes like bubble gum, and is bright yellow in color, like many other champagne colas that are found throughout the Caribbean.
