The Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria is one of the highest-risk places in Europe in terms of the Zika virus. That’s because the Aedes mosquito that carries the virus is indigenous to that area, and although there have been no infections so far, they have labeled that area ‘high-risk’ so it receives more attention and oversight in case of any outbreak.
