How to Travel With Your Pet
| October 22, 2018
7. Take into Consideration Extreme Temperatures
Choose the right time of year to travel with your pet, so it won’t face extreme and possibly life-threatening temperatures. If you’re traveling during the winter, you may need to show an Acclimation Certificate to prove your animal is comfortable with temperatures below 45 degrees F.
Don’t forget it goes both ways. If you’re leaving a country during the winter and visiting a super-hot destination, make sure you give your pet some time to acclimatize, so it won’t suffer from heat stroke or other complications.
