6. The Caribbean (Hurricane)

Every year around July to November, the Caribbean braces itself for yet another hurricane season. They’ve been happening for as long as anyone can remember and no matter how prepared a country is, destruction is on its way.

The deadliest hurricane ever recorded was Mitch which killed over 10,000 people in 1998 and the most destructive was Katrina, in 2005, with damages costing over 100 billion dollars. Hurricane Matthew in 2016 killed over 700 people and it was the first in 20 years to cross from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.
