10. Christmas Festival of Lights – Portland, USA

The annual Christmas Festival of Lights in Portland, Oregon is a beloved local Christmas tradition. Every year, over 150 different choirs from around the Pacific Northwest gather and perform for enthusiastic onlookers at The Grotto, a Catholic shrine and botanical garden just a few minutes outside of downtown Portland. The trees of the Grotto grounds are decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, which take weeks to assemble, and every night from Black Friday to December 30th families walk through the grounds, admiring the lights and listening to the choir performances.
