Jalebi
Jalebi is a popular sweet served all over India – often found at roadside snack stands, where you can buy it fresh and dripping with sweet syrup. Jalebi is made of a simple flour batter, which is drizzled into a twisted tangle, deep fried, and then soaked in honey syrup. It can be served either hot or cold. Sometimes, the syrup is flavored with lime juice or rose water, which gives the sweet just a hint of additional flavor.
