Soor Plooms
Soor plooms may look like just a simple candy, but there’s a great story behind them. The story goes that English raiders were captured near the border town of Galashiels by local Scotsmen, after they found them eating unripe plums. The green sour candy was made as a tribute to the Scotsmen’s bravery.
