Hotteok
Although you may not be able to tell from their spicy cuisine, Koreans are well known for their countrywide sweet tooth. Hotteok is a popular street food that you can find all over South Korea.
It’s basically a tiny pancake that’s filled with a syrupy brown sugar mixture, and cooked until the outside is browned, and the filling is warm and runny. There are tons of different flavors of hotteok, but the brown sugar variety is the most common.
