Cocido montañés is a hearty soup that was developed in the Cantabrian region of northern Spain, and is full of protein and vegetables.

It’s usually eaten for lunch and is great at keeping your belly full for a long afternoon of work. It contains white beans, collard greens, and an abundance of pork products like morcilla sausage, bacon, and chorizo.
