Salteñas
Salteñas comes from Bolivia and can be made with whatever you have on hand. Some of the most popular fillings include beef, pork, or chicken, which are doused with a little spicy sauce and mixed with vegetables, like peas or potatoes.
Traditionally, salteñas is eaten as a snack to keep you going until lunchtime, so you need to be quick if you are in Bolivia and want to try this toothsome pastry. Many popular vendors sell out of salteñas by mid-morning.
