Cottage Pie

Another addition to the world of pie comes from England and it’s the famous cottage pie, also known as shepherd’s pie. This pie is a bit different from many on the list as it doesn’t have a pastry component and is instead topped with fluffy mashed potatoes. The inside of the pie is made with meat, such as lamb or beef, which is fried with vegetables, including mushrooms and tomato paste.
