7. Noroma – Nara
Noroma is another ramen-ya that’s known for their tori paitan broth, which they intensify with even more chicken flavor. They don’t make their noodles in house. Instead, they buy them from the Mineya Noodle Factory, which makes incredibly delicious, toothsome noodles.
Although Noroma is one of the most famous ramen-ya in the Nara prefecture, the shop is on the smaller side, and doesn’t get as many visitors because of its location outside of Tokyo. However, if you’re in the area seeing some of Nara’s many amazing temples, you should definitely stop in.
