Horchata
Another way to soothe your taste buds after a spicy meal is to enjoy a glass of horchata, a drink made with rice, vanilla, and cinnamon and served icy-cold.
It’s one of a few different types of drinks known as aguas frescas (cool waters), a group of fresh, non-alcoholic beverages made out of either fruit, nuts, or herbs. Horchata is so easy to make that you can find it sold in restaurants, or by street vendors in any city in Mexico.
