15. Sake
The Japanese word “sake” actually just means “alcohol”, but what we know as sake in the West is actually called nihonshu in Japan. This delicious beverage has been made in Japan for the last thousand years, and there are many different types. It contains around 15% ABV, and has a delicious fresh taste that makes it an incredibly popular beverage to serve either solo or with a meal.
