12. Quindim
Another popular Brazilian dessert is quindim, a sweet molded custard made with coconut and egg yolks, which gives it a vibrant yellow color. It’s believed to be an interpretation of a Portuguese dish, originally made by slaves in Northeast Brazil where coconut and sugar are both found in abundance.
