13. Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great was born in 356 BC and was a king of the ancient kingdom of Macedon. When he was 20 years old, Alexander succeeded his father to the throne and by the time the age of 30, he had amassed one of the largest empires of the ancient world.

Alexander the Great carried an impressive military campaign to the Far East, conquering every civilization he found on his way, which took 10 years. He occupied Northern Africa, parts of the Middle East, and the Northwest of India.
